After installing the DHCP server I was able to map a drive from the command prompt. That is what prompted this. Here is the full story: I have setup a WDS server running DHCP, DNS, WINS and WDS services on it. If I get a chance today I will see what happens from an XP client. Next, look at the sharing and security tabs for the folders your are trying to share out. Drive letters won't work.
